Beginning in May 2023, all the top luxury vehicles from Maybach and the EQ lines will have Dolby Atmos 360 sound systems, the first of any cars. To create awareness in an unseen way, we came up with a social media campaign and TVC telling the story of when Dolby and Mercedes-Benz first came together. In fact, it all started with a cassette player back in the 1980s, so we created a coming of age story together with director, Julian Klincewics. We shot on 8 cameras from the 1980s until now, using both analog and digital footage to create our TVC, 3 TikToks, and many still / moving assets to work across all digital platforms. Our story tells the story of when our Hero first experiences listening to music in a Mercedes-Benz, which then inspired them to become an artist and hear their own music in the present day with Dolby Atmos.
